Part 1 - Choosing the Destination
Whether you have traveled extensively or not really much at all yet, finding the next destination for
vacation can be really difficult. Choosing that next vacation spot depends on the time of year, the
length of time you have available for holidays and of course the compromise within the family to
see something that everyone will enjoy.
The questions you ask yourself about where to go, must be….
What type of holiday should you have?
What is your budget or total spend on the vacation?
How long are you able to travel for?
What type of weather would you really like to have?
Is there much to do with the children in your desired destination(s)
In terms of where to go, some recommendations are …
Adventure - This could mean hiking through the untouched wilderness, cross-country backpacking or trekking to
parts of the World where most people do not dare go, or otherwise, choose a popular trekking destination that is safe,
well known and where facilities are plentiful.
For International travel, perhaps consider an African or Asian Safari? or adventures in Dubai,
Australia or Bavaria, Germany. Closer to home, consider a trek and camping in a National Park.
Cruising - Take off on a ship around the world or to some of the most difficult destinations that could be reached
by vehicle. Or simply visit a group of countries that will satisfy your travel cravings.
For international travel, Imagine Alaska, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean or around even Europe?
Closer to home - consider a cruise line that offers a great kid-friendly.

Beach Holiday - Australia, Thailand, Caribbean or any Oceanic Island (French Polynesia, Maldives, Seychelles), just
to name a few, could have you relaxing by clear waters, white sandy beaches and lounging around cabana’s in no
time. This one is always a big hit with the kids.
Closer to home - perhaps look into a beach holiday near home.
There are many other places to visit that may focus on historical sightseeing, safari expeditions, winter wonderland destinations. Once you have decided what type of holiday you wish to have, it all comes down
to the City and Country that you want to visit.
